"What a lovely place to spend a wet afternoon. It felt like being back in Ireland but with a much better wine selection, 10 or so by the glass & complementary bites with each round of drinks. The hearty, warming stew on arrival was especially welcome & the filled mussels were delicious. The menu looked extensive & we wished we could have returned later for dinner. Lots of different spaces to eat, drink & dine in."

"Si buscas un lugar donde la comida y el entorno te abracen, Casa Verdún es la respuesta. Es mi restaurante preferido de la ciudad y nunca falla. Es un local clásico, pero con una decoración sorprendente llena de matices que cambian con las estaciones (su transformación en Navidad es, sencillamente, mágica). ¡Incluso se atreven con un menú alemán en octubre que es una maravilla! En nuestra última visita, el festín fue de diez: Tabla Verdún: Una selección impecable de embutidos, quesos y patés para abrir boca. Ensalada Xacobea: Fresca y con personalidad, donde la cecina y los piñones marcan la diferencia. Tortilla de Patatas Campesina: Contundente y sabrosa (el toque de las setas y el chorizo es espectacular). Raxo de cerdo en tacos: Producto de primera, tierno y en su punto justo. Postre: Cerramos con una Leche frita con helado de vainilla praliné con nueces que es, directamente, de otro planeta. Las raciones están perfectamente equilibradas y el precio es más que justo para la calidad y el mimo que ponen en todo. Mención especial para el trato de los camareros: profesionales, cercanos y siempre pendientes de que la experiencia sea redonda. Un clásico que sabe renovarse sin perder su esencia. ¡Deseando volver!"

"We had a wonderful experience at Casa Verdún. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and has a warm, charming atmosphere. The service was truly excellent – the staff are incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming, which made us feel very well taken care of. The food is fresh, flavorful, and clearly prepared with high-quality ingredients. We were pleasantly surprised by how refined and well-balanced the dishes were compared to many other places along the Camino. There are also delicious vegetarian options, which we really appreciated — not always easy to find! Everything we tried was genuinely good, and the overall experience felt thoughtful and well curated. A place with heart, good taste, and great hospitality."
